Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Mutagenic Labs, LLC ("Mutagenic," "we," "us") collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It covers all of our websites, software products, apps, services, phone numbers and text-message lines, events, and our business communications, including mutagenic.io and the products listed there (together, the "Services"). If a product posts its own privacy notice, that notice governs for that product, and this policy covers anything it does not address.

1. When we act for another business

Many of our Services are used by businesses to run their own operations, for example to answer calls, texts and web inquiries, or to manage their work and records. Information that a business puts into our Services, or that we collect on its behalf, is that business's data ("Customer Data"). The business decides how Customer Data is used, and its own privacy notice applies. We process Customer Data only to provide the Services to that business, under a written agreement, and we do not use it for our own marketing or sell it. Questions about Customer Data should go to the business you dealt with; we will help it answer them.

2. Information we collect

• Contact and inquiry information: your name, email address, phone number, company, role and message when you use a contact form, email us, book time with us, attend an event or demonstration, or ask about our Services.
• Account information: when you or your organization uses one of our products, your name, work email, role, login credentials and settings.
• Usage and device information: logs of how our products and websites are used, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, timestamps and error reports, which we use to operate, secure and support the Services.
• Calls and texts: your phone number, the time and length of calls, and the content of text messages you exchange with our numbers. If a call is recorded or transcribed, you will be told before anything substantive is said, and you may decline.
• Payment information: billing contact and transaction details. Card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
• Business contact information from other sources: names, titles and work contact details of people at businesses we may work with, from public sources such as company websites and professional directories, and from business data providers.

3. How we use it

• To provide, operate, maintain, secure and support the Services, and to deliver the products and services you or your organization ask for.
• To respond to you, schedule conversations, send service and account messages, and send the text messages you have requested or agreed to receive.
• To communicate with businesses about our Services. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
• To improve the Services, using usage information and aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you or any customer.
• To bill for the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and enforce our agreements.

We do not use personal information or Customer Data to train artificial-intelligence models, and we require the AI providers we use not to train on it.

4. Text messaging

If you text one of our numbers, or ask us to text you, we use your mobile number to send the messages described in our SMS Terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, or text-message opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with the service providers that deliver our messages, such as our telecommunications provider, and only to deliver them.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@mutagenic.io.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our websites do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Our products use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure and remember your settings.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not track visitors across other websites over time, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we treat every visitor the same whether or not the browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do in any case.

Our websites load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us run the Services and our business, such as hosting, telecommunications, email, scheduling, payment, customer-support and AI model providers, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us;
• with the business you dealt with, for Customer Data and for communications you send to or through that business;
• when you direct us to, or with your consent;
• when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of anyone; and
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

California "Shine the Light." We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes (California Civil Code §1798.83).

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it. Customer Data is kept and deleted on the customer's instructions and under our agreement with that customer.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and logging, to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, or to delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them, and opt out of texts by replying STOP. California residents have rights under California privacy law, and we honor the same requests from anyone, whether or not the law requires it. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

To make a request, email hello@mutagenic.io. We will confirm your identity before acting and reply within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent if you give them written permission. For Customer Data, we will pass your request to the business that controls it.

10. Where we process information

We are based in the United States and process information here. If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Other websites and services

The Services may link to or connect with websites and services we do not control, including services you choose to connect. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

12. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal information we already hold, we will give notice before it applies.
